Ferrari Portofino (2019)

Released in 2017 and named after the picturesque fishing village located on the Italian Riviera, the Portofino was released as the much-anticipated replacement for the California that was produced from 2008 until 2014, when the California T was released and produced until 2017.

Sitting on a completely new chassis, the Portofino is not just a facelifted and rebadged California but instead has been redesigned from the ground up. Weighing in 80 kg lighter than the California and yet is more powerful with a heavily revised version of the 3.9 litre twin-turbo V8 now producing 600 bhp, a staggering increase of almost 150 bhp. This weight reduction and added power makes the Portofino capable of dashing to 62mph in just 3.5 seconds up to a top speed just under 200 mph.

The hardtop roof can be raised or lowered at up to 30 mph taking just 14 seconds. Once the roof is down the Portofino gives a comfortable ride with 30% less air flow entering the cabin in comparison with the California, the climate control system has also undergone a thorough redesign to offer more cooling and heating when needed with the roof down.
