Ferrari 328 GTS (1989)

The 328 GTS model, together with the fixed roof 328 GTB, were the final developments of the normally aspirated transverse V8 engine 2-seat series. The 328 figures in the model title referred to the total cubic capacity of the engine, 3.2 litres, and 8 for the number of cylinders. The new model was introduced at the 1985 Frankfurt Salon alongside the Mondial 3.2 series.

Essentially the new model was a revised and updated version of the 308, albeit with various changes to the 3-litre engine. Stylistically the 328 model stayed very true to its predecessor's iconic 70's silhouette. The most notable change being a small roof spoiler just aft of the driver. Subtle changes were also made to soften the wedge profile such as moulded bumpers and a more petite front grill. In conjunction with the 328's exterior the car's interior benefitted from more supportive seats and an overall superior build quality throughout.

This particular RHD 328 GTS was supplied new by Modena Engineering in March 1989 to a Mr Anthony Cutterbuck of Surrey, England. Presented in the classic colour combination of Rosso Corsa with a Tan leather interior. Extremely well maintained from new, this GTS comes accompanied by a most extensive history file including the original Warranty book, with servicing dating back to 1991. DK Engineering first encountered the car in 1997, caring for it for the previous keeper.

In March 2003, it was purchased by its current owner and maintenance remained being carried out by DK from then until now. DK have since cared for the car with no expense spared, and in November 2015, carried out a full major service including cambelts. It has since covered under 50 Miles and when not being used has been garaged.

It is rare to find a RHD 328 presented in such superb condition; it is rarer still to find an example with such a well-documented and comprehensive history of no expense spared maintenance, supplied in this stunning combination and having covered just 31,400 Miles. Accompanied by its original and complete book pack, leather pouch, spare key, tools and jack, this 328 GTS is ready to be enjoyed by its new owner immediately.
