Ferrari Enzo

Factory supplied in Grigio Titanio - In 2002 Ferrari began production of the fastest road car they had ever made. Controversially named Enzo after the firms legendary founder, this 650bhp, 217mph supercar was the fourth in a line of ultra high performance Ferrari's. The Enzo weighed in at 1365kg, a little heavier than Ferrari had hoped for but still light enough for 476bhp per tonne.
A normally aspirated V12 with an all alloy block formed the heart of the Enzo's 6-litre motor and was the first of a new generation of Ferrari engines. With 5998cc it returned to a four valve cylinder head and featured a variable length induction system that extended the length of the induction pipes from 340 to 430mm via hydraulic actuators. Also new was variable inlet and exhaust valve timing that helped produce 650bhp at 7800rpm, more than any previous Ferrari production car.
Performance figures were very impressive, 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and 0-125 in 9.5 making the Enzo the fastest car in production between 2002 and 2004. The most obvious F1-derived detail was surely that raised nose flanked by a pair of radiators located ahead of each front wheel. These directed hot air through vents to the upper body, thus preventing it merging with the underbody airflow that used fast air to generate even more downforce - as much as 775kg at 186mph! Complex under body active aerodynamics meant no need for a traditional large rear wing.
The cabin was a technological tour de force also, the most advanced of its day. A complex steering wheel housed controls for driving modes, traction control, a trip computer, reverse gear and wing angles, the upper rim incorporating five LED's that came on in 500rpm installments after 5500rpm. Just 399 Enzo's were made between 2002 and 2004, all of which were completed in left hand drive, the last car rolling off the production line in May 2004.
This example offered for sale is presented in a magnificent paint colour, it is 1 of just 5 cars built in the original total run of 399 in this colour. The car remains in its original and factory specification of Grigio Titanio metallic, Nero hide, Tessuto inserts (extra large sized seats), four point harnesses and a yellow rev counter. The car was supplied to the Italian market via the main dealer in Rome being first registered in April 2004. Since then it has remained with its first owner until now making it "one owner from new". The car has been maintained by the main dealer in Rome including having a new clutch at 7,200 kms and a major service just under 100 kms ago. The total mileage is very low and is now just 9,200 kms (approx 5,680 Miles).
A surprising number of Enzo's have been repainted to an alternative colour during their lifetime, this rare car is presented in superb original and stunning condition and is available to view immediately in our showrooms just outside London.

Maserati MC12

1 Owner from new - UK car - The Maserati MC12 was produced for one reason, to allow a racing variant to compete in the FIA GT Championship. The MC12 signaled Maserati's return to racing after an absence of 37 years. The Ferrari Maserati Group's wealth of knowledge and technological excellence was poured into the new car. The road version was produced to homologate the race version and although Maserati designed and built the car on the chassis of the Enzo, the final car is much larger in size, purposeful looking and has a lower drag coefficient. Some say the MC12 is a more refined road car. The only visible shared item from the outside between the Enzo & the MC12 is the windscreen. However, under its skin the engine, running gear and gearbox are identical. The MC12 is longer, wider and taller and has a sharper nose.
The car entered production in 2004 with 30 cars produced (five of which were not for sale). A further 25 were produced in 2005 making a total of 50 cars available for customers, all of which were pre-sold to VIP clients. The road cars were available exclusively in a white and blue livery (harking back to an old Maserati tradition).

This example offered for sale was one of just a handful of cars that originally came to the UK. It has had just one owner from new since its delivery in April 2005 and has covered just 3,800 Miles. The car remains in superb and original condition having been maintained regularly by official Ferrari/Maserati dealers. The car is UK registered and available to view immediately.

Pagani Zonda F

1 owner from new - LHD - Debuted in 1999, the Pagani Zonda stormed the super car world. The updated car, the "Zonda F", was debuted at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show. Production of the Zonda F was limited to just 25 cars. The F in the name Zonda F, was to honour Argentina's (the birth place of the company founder) greatest Formula One driver, Juan Manuel Fangio and it was the most extensive re-engineering of the Zonda yet. It shares the 7.3 L AMG V12 engine which through enhanced intake manifolds, exhaust and a revised ECU produces just under 650 BHP at 6150 rpm and 560 lbft of torque at 4000 rpm. The F came with an extra head light and different fog lights at the sides. The new bodywork (revised front end, new rear spoiler, more aerodynamic vents all around) improved the cars aerodynamics as well as different side mirrors. Further enhancements over the 'S' centre around optional carbon/ceramic brakes developed in conjunction with Brembo, magnesium wheels, inconel titanium exhaust system, hydroformed aluminum intake plenum and a redesigned 'Z preg' weave in the crash structure to improve rigidity and reduce weight.

This example has had just one owner form new and has always been maintained meticulously by the factory. The car was recently subjected to a major service at the factory and a full aero upgrade to "cinque" specification. This striking colour combination is certainly one of the finest we have seen on such a car. The car is LHD, UK registered and has covered just 7,000 miles from new. It is available to view immediately at our showrooms just outside London.

This example offered for sale is presented in its factory specification of Rosso Corsa with Black Leather seats and rare Black Nomex inserts. The seats are fitted with black race harnesses and the dials are Red.
The car was delivered new to Germany in June 2004 to a very prominent collector. The mileage was kept to a minimum and in September 2009 it was sold having covered 2,200 miles (3,700 kms) to the second and current owner (at that time DK Engineering purchased an equally excellent F50 from the same collection and therefore have known this car intimately since that time as it was also considered for purchase).
Today the car is presented in superb condition with the bodywork being protected with "Armourfend" in order to protect the original paintwork. The car has been maintained by Lueg Sportivo (main dealer in Dusseldorf) and C.H.Pozzi (main dealer Paris). The current mileage is approximately 5,000 miles (8,250 kms) and the car is accompanied by all its original tools and books. As part of the sale a major service will be included. Available to view immediately at our showrooms just outside London.

Ferrari 365 GTB/4 "Daytona"

16,000 Miles From New - The world famous Daytona name was unofficially conjured up by the press in recognition of the firms stunning 1-2-3 victory at 1967's Daytona 24 Hours and - the fact that it was the last front-engined Ferrari GT before the Fiat years also means it occupies a special place in Maranello history. The Daytona was a stopgap model between Ferrari's outgoing 275 GTB/4 and their mid-engined 365 GT4 Berlinetta Boxer, the development of which was running well behind schedule. Influenced by the fact they were beginning to suffer a number of financial problems, Ferrari decided to produce what was essentially an updated version of an existing model. However, despite the troubled background to its inception, Daytona's themselves were in no way affected. Ferrari produced what became the definitive GT of its time.
The Daytona's motor is essentially an enlarged Tipo 226 60° V12 from the previous 275 GTB/4 and is designated Tipo 251. They have a displacement of 4.4-litres producing 352bhp at 7500rpm. At the time the Daytona became the world's fastest production car with a top speed of 175mph and 0-60 in 5.3 seconds - enough to eclipse every other manufacturer, even Lamborghini. Pininfarina designed the Daytona's bodywork exuding power from every angle. As a result the Daytona remains one of the most jaw-dropping GT's to this day.
The 365 GTB/4 (proper name!) was launched during October 1968's Paris Salon and won enormous praise. It was the fastest production road car available and would be the last of Ferrari's front-engined GT's, a fact not lost on writers at the time. Relatively few official options were available, just wider Cromodora alloys, spoked Borrani wires, front bumper bars and air conditioning having been on the upgrade list. After two years of production a number of important revisions were introduced, these changes came about as a result of the newly imposed Federal safety legislation in the USA that deemed covered headlights illegal. Thus, Pininfarina were forced into carrying out a mild front-end make-over resulting in retractable headlights in early-1971. As production went on, Ferrari made changes to the indicator lenses, later cars more often than not coming with exclusively orange items whereas earlier examples tended to get combination lenses. There was also a switch from aluminium to steel doors (these providing a little more side impact protection) and the arrival of a smaller-diameter leather-rimmed steering wheel.
Production ceased in late 1973 to make way for the overdue mid-Flat-12-engined 365 GT4 Berlinetta Boxer. By this time, Ferrari had completed 1284 GTB/4's, 158 of which were right-hand drive and came to the UK.
This "Daytona", chassis 16581, is an original RHD UK supplied example. The car was supplied in June 1973 to Phil Scragg (of racing fame, most notably in his factory Jaguar Lightweight E type and later in his Lola T70 Spider). The car remains in its original combination of Rosso Chiaro with Black leather and Grey carpets. During the 1980's the car formed part of the famous Birmingham based Patrick Collection. During that time the car would have been exercised on a 6 monthly basis and maintained as such by the museum staff. As a result of being part of the museum the mileage remained remarkably low. When the car came to be purchased by its next owner from the museum in May 1991, the car had covered just 14,000 miles from new and remained in what John Ward (the museum curator) described as "Pristine and original" condition.
During the last 20 years, 16581 has passed through the hands of two further owners and has been consistently maintained by Bob Houghton. The car remains in a condition that in our opinion is remarkably original and unrestored. As a result of minimal usage the mileage is today indicated at just 16,300 Miles from new. Most recently the car was serviced by Bob Houghton in 2011 (the car has covered just 100 miles since). This "Daytona" represents a unique opportunity to purchase what is probably the lowest mileage example available in the UK at this time.

Ferrari 599 GT Evo Twin Compressor

900 BHP! - The 599 GTB Fiorano was until the F12 was launched recently Ferraris two-seat flagship, and was the successor to the 575M Maranello having replaced it in 2006. The 599 is of course a spiritual successor to the legendary 250 GT, 275 GTB and Daytona. With an Enzo-derived 5999cc V12 shoehorned into a latest generation all-alloy chassis, the 620bhp standard GTB was Ferrari's most powerful V12 production car ever. The 599 takes its name from its engine displacement Gran Turismo Berlinetta nature, and the Fiorano Circuit test track used by Ferrari - it was styled by Pininfarina under the direction of Ferrari's Frank Stephenson.
This example offered for sale was delivered as a UK RHD HGTE model and was supplied by Maranello in February 2010. It has had just one fastidious owner from new and is presented in Nero externally whilst the interior is equipped with Crema Leather and Black alcantara electric sports seats. The interior benefits from a carbon driving zone, iPod integration, satnav and LED shift lights in the carbon/leather steering wheel. The car has covered just 9,000 miles from new and has a full Maranello service history.
What sets this car apart from others is its performance upgrades that result in staggering statistics. The car benefits from a twin compressor conversion by Novitec. This ups the standard power output to a whopping 900 BHP! A custom exhaust has standard HGTE tail tips but is designed specifically for the conversion and incorporates Manettino adjusted exhaust valves thus producing a fantastic sound! Under the bonnet the intercooler and inlet manifolds are cleverly designed so that they fit neatly under a full silver carbon cover without the need for modification to any of the bodywork.
The car sits on 20" unique three piece wheels. The front of the car is fitted with full adjustable suspension with a front hydraulic lifting system (40mm). The car also features unique subtle visual tweaks that include a front splitter, rear double diffuser, rear screen diffuser, unique black rear and side lights, chromed grilles and colour coded mirrors.
This car is truly unique and offers what some would consider as a superior alternative to the 599 GTO at a fraction of the price. The car is presented in superb condition and is available to view immediately.

Ford GT

Low Mileage - Produced between 2004 and 2006, the Ford GT is a mid-engine two-seater sports car that's design drew inspiration from Ford's GT40 race cars of the 1960s.
The GT was designed as a concept car in anticipation of the automaker's centennial year and as part of its drive to showcase its revival of, "heritage", names such as Mustang and Thunderbird. It should be noted that Carroll Shelby was brought in by Ford to help develop the Ford GT; this included performance testing of the prototype car.
Although the GT is similar in outward appearance to the original GT40, it is bigger, wider, and 3 inches taller than the original (which was 40 inches – hence the name GT40). Although the cars are visually related and have the same basic layout, there is no similarity between the modern GT and the 1960s GT40 structurally.
The first customers took delivery of cars in August 2004. The GT's major assembly took place at Mayflower Vehicle Systems in Norwalk, Ohio. Approximately 550 were built in 2004, nearly 1,900 in 2005, and just over 1,600 in 2006. Optional equipment available included a McIntosh sound system, racing stripes, painted brake calipers, and forged alloy wheels adding an additional $13,500 to the RRP.
The mid-mounted 5.4 Litre Modular V8 engine is all-aluminium with a Lysholm twin screw-type supercharger. It features a forged rotating assembly housed in an aluminum block designed specifically for the GT program. A dry sump oiling system is employed, allowing the engine to sit low in the car's frame. Resulting power output is 550 hp at 6500 rpm and it generates 500 ft lb of torque at 3750 rpm. The motor is mated to a Ricardo six-speed manual transmission that features a helical limited-slip differential. Resulting performance figures are quoted as a 0–60 mph time of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 212 mph!
A Ford GT represents a superbly engineered supercar with blistering characteristics and performance capabilities that was built to pay homage to one of the most appreciated and iconic cars ever built. When considering alternative supercars available today and their respective values it must certainly be noted that a GT represents superb value for money.
This example offered for sale has covered just 4,500 miles from new and is equipped with all the desirable optional extras. The condition is superb and the car has recently received a major service. UK registered and available immediately.

Ferrari F40

Non Cat - Non Adjust - Ferrari's 201mph F40 is the definitive supercar and has a formidable reputation alongside the 250 GTO as possibly the best road Ferrari built to date. With the F40 Pininfarina produced an era defining creation, one that even today is instantly recognisable by old and young enthusiasts alike. F40's were closely derived from the experimental GTO Evoluzione's and the road 288 GTO (that the F40 replaced).
The design features a tubular steel chassis with bonded composite inserts, most notably around the sills and floorpan, The 2936cc motor produces approximately 500bhp at 7000rpm with the help of two water-cooled IHI turbochargers running 1.1bar of boost - at 1202kg the F40 had a and still has a phenomenal power-to-weight ratio. Shatteringly fast by any comparison (especially for 1988), the F40 can sprint from 0-60mph in just 4.4 seconds and hit 201mph flat out making it the first production car to surpass this mystical boundary. Whilst the GTO had pioneered the use of composite panels, the F40 was the first whose bodywork was constructed entirely from such materials. Comprising eleven panels made from Nomex, Kevlar and Carbon composite with a heavily ventilated Plexiglas rear windscreen. Sliding Lexan windows were fitted to the first 50 cars, these getting replaced by wind-ups thereafter. The F40 was a landmark not just on account of its crushing performance and stunning looks, but it was fittingly the last ever car presented by Enzo Ferrari, this taking place at Maranello in June 1987, 14 months before the great man's death.
From 1991 onwards cars were fitted with catalytic convertors to meet ever tightening legislation and at this time adjustable suspension became an option. Production was discontinued in 1992 after 1311 examples had been completed in five years (600 or so being bound for the USA and being noticeably different to their lighter and faster European cousins), the F40 was only ever available from Ferrari in left-hand drive and presented in Rosso Corsa. (Approximately 7 examples were converted to RHD for the Sultan of Brunei).
At DK Engineering we have executed over100 trades of this iconic supercar. During 2011 DK transacted a total of eleven F40 sales! Our workshops have maintained approximately 75 different examples at various points in their life over the past 22 years. With this we are generally acknowledged as one of the leading F40 specialists in Europe.
This example offered for sale by DK Engineering was first delivered 16/11/89 by Charles Pozzi, Paris. This is a moderatley early example being a non-catalytic model with non-adjustable suspension. The 1st owner was Mansour Ojjeh, owner of Tag Watches and one time part owner of the Mclaren F1 team. The car was purchased by its second owner on the 18/05/93. It has been serviced by Pozzi & DP Sport (Tours, France) throughout its life until it was purchased by DK Engineering for its third owner. The interior is in excellent condition, the seats are trimmed in the correct material with the correct motif in place. The engine bay is in superb condition with undamaged Bulkhead foil and clean suspension all round (without corrosion and retaining original stampings). During 2011 a major cambelt service was carried out and new fuel cells were fitted at DK Engineering. The turbos have also both been recently overhauled.
The external presentation of the car is also superb. There is noticeably a great deal of kevlar "weave" present on the front clam shell - a must for most F40 buyers. This is a fine example of an early specification F40 that has all the right attributes including a recent major service and fuel cells. The car is UK registered, has covered 15,000 kms and is available to view at our Chorleywood showrooms just outside London.

Ferrari 360 Modena

10,000 Miles - In 1999, Ferrari considered their much-loved and hugely accomplished 355 ready for replacing, a bold move as many thought it the marques best junior supercar ever. The 360 adopted new materials and construction methods and Ferrari designed the 355's successor from scratch. The firm's desire to be back at the forefront of racing with its successful endurance and F1 programmes at the time had also filtered its way down to the street cars. The design was revolutionary for example making extensive use of exotic lightweight materials throughout, the 360's construction has resulted in the frame weighing 28% less than the outgoing 355, structural rigidity having been increased by an amazing 40%. With Ferrari wanting the interior to be more spacious, the wheelbase was stretched by 150mm, width rising by 15mm, the need to accomodate a set of golf clubs having been a pre-requisite. Ferrari paid particular attention to improving underbody aerodynamics and thus the 360 boasts a completely flat bottom with two prominent diffusers clearly visible from the rear. The 360's Tipo F131B engine produced a staggering 400bhp at 8500rpm from just 3586cc! This resulted in an extremely impressive 0-60 time requiring just 4.4 seconds and a 186mph top speed. It came as no surprise when Turin styling house Pininfarina, who have a long-standing association with Ferrari, were chosen to create the bodywork and interior. Notable features from a what is a very modern design are the gaping air intakes for the front-mounted radiators and those 250 LM-esque engine-cooling ducts mounted atop the rear wings. Thanks to a great deal of time in the wind tunnel, Pininfarina produced an exceptionally clean profile without need for additional wings, flares or blisters. One of the other striking features on the 360 Modena is a large glass rear screen that proudly displays the engine in all its glory.Introduced at the Geneva Salon in March 1999, the Modena unsurprisingly swelled Ferrari's order books and a two year backlog was on the cards within weeks. The model stayed in production until 2004 when the F430 was introduced. This F1 example is one of the lowest mileage examples available, the car has covered just 10,000 miles. Originally delivered by Graypaul in Loughborough, this 360 Modena has been extremely well cared for since 2000, only ever garaged and used very little. As a result the car remains virtually as it left the factory. This 360 is presented in Rosso Corsa with the desirable and much sought after carbon back sports seats in Crema leather. Unusually with low mileage cars this example has a good service history, especially recent services, the car was last serviced by ourselves in November 2011 at which time the cambelts were also changed. The car is situated in our London showrooms and is ready to be used and enjoyed by the new owner at once.
