DK Engineering is a family run business. David and Kate Cottingham are the husband and wife team who founded the business in 1977. Their three sons, Justin Jeremy and James are involved full time in the day to day running of the business with Jeremy and James running the sales department. Phil Redpath is DK’s Modern Service Advisor.
Our technicians are mostly either trained in house from the apprentice stage upwards or have been factory trained at main dealers before coming to join DK usually to find a greater diversity of motor car in the work place.
Many of DK Engineering’s former employees have used the experience and knowledge gained at DK to go help them found their own business’s of which most are now successful from using the fundamental principals learnt whilst being at DK.
DK have a work force of approximately 20 people.
