DK Restored Ferrari 275 GTB Awarded The Trofeo Automobile Club Como at Villa d'Este

Perhaps the most glamourous of all concours, the Villa d'Este Concorso d'Eleganza took place this past weekend on the shores of Lake Como. Among the cars on display this year was a Ferrari 275 GTB/6C, fully restored by DK Engineering. Originally supplied by Maranello Concessionaires to a London-based owner, this 275 lived a well-travelled life thereafter, joining the first custodian upon relocation to Ibiza before eventually residing in Switzerland for close to four decades.

Restored by DK Engineering to its original Rosso Rubino over Beige, this 275 now presents superbly. A testament to not only the car's early life but also the quality of its restoration, the current custodian chose to pilot the car from the UK to Lake Como in time for Villa d'Este Concorso.

The journey to Como did not go unnoticed and in recognition, the 275 was awarded the Trofeo Automobile Club Como for the car driven from farthest away. Whilst an honour to be decorated at Villa d'Este, the recognition further served as inspiration to all for how and when cars such as the 275 should be used.
