Pagani Huayra (2016)

Launching their first car in 1999, the Zonda arrived seemingly out of nowhere, ready and eager to rival the very best on offer at the time. Founded by ex-Lamborghini engineer Horatio Pagani, the world would see the best of Italian design flair, advanced use of carbon-composite materials and a reliable V12 powertrain sourced from Mercedes Benz.

Following on from the Zonda would always be a tall order. Horacio instead chose to start fresh, retaining the ethos and flair and the Mercedes-sourced V12, but adding two turbochargers, vaulting the power and torque up to 730bhp and 1,000NM of torque.

A recipe in automotive theatre, opening the gullwing door reveals nothing short of a feast for the eyes and senses. The open gear linkage running through the centre of the cabin, the meticulous Carbon Fibre details from the driver's binnacle to each of the air vents.

This example was delivered new in rare right-hand drive. Presented in Bianco Benny over 'Rojo' red leather with complimenting exterior red-tinted Carbon Fibre.
