The 250 GT Lusso is widely regarded as one of the most elegant and timeless designs by Pininfarina of all time. Introduced in 1962 the 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso was Ferrari's latest intermediate model, a vehicle to bridge the gap between competition racers and luxuriously appointed 2+2 Coupe's. Just 351 examples were built between 1963 and late 64.
This car was the 5th last Lusso built, Chassis 5945 GT, and was supplied by the legendary Garage Francorchamps in 1965 being finished in Grigio Argento Salchi with Rosso interior throughout. This Lusso is a very special and rare example being a car that was continuously campaigned in competition events between 1965 and 1968. The car took part in no less than eleven events, finishing on the podium in every event!
More recently the car has been restored to the highest standard by a European marque specialist to its original colour combination. This is a truly magnificent and exceptional example of a 250 GT Lusso that is offered for sale with Blue-chip racing pedigree and period race history.
