The 330 GTC was replaced in 1968 by the superior 365 GTC. The styling remaining almost the same with differences being limited to non-vented front wings and the addition of new vents on the bonnet. The engine was of course an enlarged 4.4 Litre engine boasting more torque and horsepower. This vastly improved the cars performance. The 365 GTC retained the independent rear suspension employing coil springs and wishbones, the same of its immediate predecessor, though this was a relatively recent departure for Ferrari. Stopping power came from servo-assisted disc brakes all-round with a split circuit system. Integrating the gearbox with the final drive gave the car a balanced 50:50 weight distribution. A 365 GTC is a super rare and highly desirable beast with just 150 examples being built (including 22 in right hand drive) between the 1968 and 1970.

This stunning Verde Pino example was originally supplied in March 1969 to the Milan Ferrari agent, M.G Crepaldi S.A.S, from here Crepaldi sold this GTC to its first private owner, an Italian Gentleman. In the 1970s the car was imported into Switzerland via the Swiss dealer Rob de la Rive Box, it was at this point, whilst with Box, that the famous Ferrari historian, Marcel Massini (then aged 19) photographed the car which was still in its original colour of Maronne Colorado. In 1978 the car found a new owner, a Mr Stefano of Alaska and was duly shipped to Anchorage. Ralph Stefano was an early Ferrari collector and was also known to have owned and raced two Ferrari 500TR Scaglietti Spiders and a special bodied 250 GT Lusso, unfortunately in 1984 he passed away from illness and the car was transported to Oregan for subsequent sale. In 1986 it was sold to Steven Block and then to Stuart Hollander who would keep the car for a further ten years and in his ownership the car was treated to a full restoration by Cavallino Ferrari.

In 2011 the GTC was purchased by Autosport designs near New York where a restoration was commenced which included a very high quality bare metal repaint in Pino Verde and a re-trim in Tan leather alongside the mechanical overhaul. Following this extensive work the car was purchased by its only U.K owner and registered in September 2011. Whilst in the U.K the car was been extremely well maintained by Bob Houghton and approximately £15,000 has been further spent on the car in recent years to ensure that in all respects this example is in fabulous condition. This stunning Classiche Certified and Matching Numbers 365 GTC is ready to be used an enjoyed immediately and complete with a good and known history is a superb opportunity.
