Aiming to fill the void after the 911R and to offer a more hands-on approach to driving as per the original 911 philosophy, the Touring pack was introduced at the 2017 Frankfurt Motorshow.
Offered solely with a manual gearbox, the Touring aims to deliver a more subtle shape overall, whilst maintaining the underpinnings of the GT3. Inside the car could be specified with the majority of options from the regular GT3, except for the Clubsport pack – meaning no rear rollcage. With the removal of the rear wing too, the aerodynamics have changed quite significantly. By removing the rear wing, there is less downforce but consequently less drag than the standard car. These aerodynamic changes have meant for shorter front splitter and revised diffuser to complement the small gurney flap along the engine cover that replaces the full size wing of the standard car.
This RHD, C16 example is presented in Sapphire Blue. It benefits from a host of options to make for the ideal drivers car. Equipped with both Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes(PCCB's) and the full Carbon Fibre bucket seats from the 918 Spyder, this touring offers the fitting, focussed, driver experience. Additionally optioned with Bose Premium Sound system, Digital Radio and Rear View Camera along with Cruise Control and Front-Axle Lift functionality helping to make this a very usable car.
Having covered just 665 miles from new, this lovely example is on the button, ready to go, and available to view in our showrooms just outside London immediately.
