The 599 GTB Fiorano was at its time, Ferraris two-seat flagship, the successor to the 575M Maranello which it replaced it in 2006. The 599 is of course a spiritual successor to the legendary 250 GT, 275 GTB and Daytona. With an Enzo-derived 5999cc V12 shoehorned into what was the latest generation all-alloy chassis, the 620bhp GTB was at the time Ferrari's most powerful V12 production car ever.
The 599 took its name from its engine displacement Gran Turismo Berlinetta nature, and the Fiorano Circuit test track used by Ferrari. Styled by Pininfarina under the direction of Ferrari's Frank Stephenson, the performance statistics of the 599 are claimed to be a top speed in excess of 330 km/h (205 mph), 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.7 seconds, and 11.0 seconds to 200 km/h (124 mph).
During production, an upgrade package was released named the "HGTE handling package", this consisted of stiffer front and rear suspension, a stiffer rear anti-roll bar, a faster gear change thanks to gearbox upgrades, lightweight 5 spoke wheels reducing un-sprung weight by 5kg, ceramic brake discs and an upgraded sports exhaust system.
First delivered in 2008, this RHD 599 is equipped with the aforementioned HGTE handling pack and is presented in Nero Daytona. The interior benefits from Carbon shelled electric Daytona sports seats trimmed in Bordeaux Leather with Nero inserts and a matching Bordeaux Hide dashboard. The interior is lavished with lightweight Carbon extras including a Carbon driver's zone with LED shift light, Carbon dashboard, centre console and door cards. Additionally the interior is equipped with Satellite Navigation, iPod connection and Giallo gauges. The exterior is appointed with Giallo calipers and Carbon Fibre sills.
Today it has covered just 7,500 miles from new and prior to sale it has received a service at Graypaul Ferrari in Nottingham. Presented with all of its books, spare key and UK registration, this stunning 599 is available for viewing at our showroom based just outside London.
