It was humbling to read and sweep through the descriptions and pictures of the cars you guys presented at the Salon Prive this year. I just wanted to congratulate all of you on a well-deserved Best of Show and performance on every class that had the DK signature present. I understand the difficulties on preparing and bringing one car to the moment of its highest glory, but multiple cars to be presented at the same show is quite an undertaking. I thought my preference is preservation, but as I looked at every picture, I was amazed by what my eyes saw: quality of craftsmanship and handling that gave it a human touch. I am not looking at the actual cars, but throughout all the pictures of each car, I felt that whomever worked and prepared them understood how to protect the actual original look and feel, handling the overall congruency of every car to support their life and birth condition. The reason I went to DK is because there is a delightful chap I know who has a huge collection of incredible Ferrari classics: like 250 SWB, 250LM etc. He recommended them. Until recently, I had used the same large main Ferrari dealer for 10 years. They installed some fuel cells in my newly-acquired F40 and continued to assure me that the overpowering smell of fuel from my car was perfectly normal. They even had the car back to check. Rubbish and extremely dangerous advice. After 8 months desperation with the Ferrari network dealer, DK finally sorted the problem. They fitted different US-made tanks. Quickly and reasonably.
