Aston Martin Vanquish S (2017)

The original Vanquish had acted as Aston Martin’s halo model since 2001, when it was also the vehicle of choice for James Bond in "Die Another Day". Always powered by a naturally aspirated V12 the original vanquish was updated to “S" in 2004. Production ended in 2007.

In 2012 the second generation Vanquish was born, still crucially powered by a naturally aspirated 6 Litre V12, this new model took many styling cues from the Million pound One-77 hypercar. In 2013 the first Vanquish Volante was announced to great acclaim. The second-generation Vanquish S was announced in 2017 and included the fantastic 8-Speed gearbox retuned for more urgent, positive shifts. Additionally, the car received a power lift to just shy of 600bhp. Whilst the torque figure remained the same, it was now available over a broader range making the ‘S’ far more competitive amongst its peers.

This 2017 example was specially optioned in Magnetic Silver. An interesting “Silver” Hue which has a noticeable grey undertone. Inside the car is optioned predominantly in Obsidian Black but with Spicey Red contrasting stitching. A wealth of well thought of options which include swathes of Carbon Fibre both inside and out. The Exterior Carbon Pack affords the car Carbon Fibre bonnet vents, visible Carbon Fibre roof, sills, mirrors, diffusers and side strakes. The cabin receives full-length Satin Chopped Carbon Fibre dashboard complemented with Shadow Bronze switchgear.

A truly fabulous example, this Vanquish S has remained with its sole custodian since delivery in 2017 and kept alongside a large collection of Aston Martin’s. Showing a mere 1,100 miles from new with two maintenance stamps from the Aston Martin, main service centre in Sevenoaks.
