The 991 Carrera was launched to great praise at the 2011 Frankfurt Motorshow, the 991 was a technological leap forward from the already exceptional 997 generation of 911 models. The 991 was an entirely new platform, only the third since the original 911 launched in 1963 (the 996 of 1999 was the second new platform). Compared to the outgoing 997, the 991 is slightly larger, with the wheelbase increased by 100 mm, but more importantly a new transaxle was developed so that the rear wheels could be moved 76 millimetres backward in relation to the position of the engine, which significantly improves the weight distribution and cornering performance. Due to the use of high-strength steels, aluminium and some composites the weight has been reduced. The fantastic PDK Gearbox was yet further improved for the 991 and thanks to a longer ratio 7th Gear and the introduction of Stop/Start Technology the 991 is more economical than any 997.

4-wheel drive and Porsche’s ever-evolving dual-clutch PDK makes for a sub-3 second 0-60 run an unrivalled cross country, all-weather performance.

This significant and rare variant of 911 has been designed to incorporate the ageless styling of the 1974 3.0 Turbo, finished in Carrara White and featuring a bespoke black rear upper spoiler, bespoke “Fuchs” Sport Classic wheels in black, black finished exterior door handles, and the black Porsche script along the sills. The personalised carbon-fibre door sill guards with the words "911 Turbo S – Exclusive GB Edition" look stunning and to make this even more special it is illuminated signifying the true special edition nature of this model. Another special addition is the dashboard has been decorated with an embossed Union Jack flag and the words "911 Turbo S – Exclusive GB Edition".
