Porsche 911 (991.2) GT3 RS (2018)

The reference ''RS'' will quicken the pulse of Porsche connoisseurs. Models such as the legendary Carrera RS 2.7 of 1972 and the 1991 Type 964 911 RS were also sports cars that stood out on account of their extreme degree of manoeuvrability and handling, a tradition that is continued with the new 911 GT3 RS. In common with its predecessors, it provides a homologation model for use in a range of racing series. Porsche's legendary approach to constructing these highly specialised editions of the already capable 911 has always been to reduce weight, add power and sharpen cornering capability, to which the 991 GT3 RS has accomplished every element.

Updated in 2018, the 991.2 GT3 RS improves on the old car in a number of ways. The standout figure being the power lift of 20bhp whilst retaining the same 4-litre flat-six engine, but this has been achieved by lifting the red line up from 8,250rpm to the magical 9,000rpm. A tenth quicker to 60mph, the .2 RS brings it within 10 seconds of its big-brother – The GT2 RS’ Nurburging lap time. In traditional Porsche means, further updates can be found all over the car; from aerodynamic updates to suspension revisions

This car was supplied new on 21st June 2018 supplied by Porsche Centre Solihull. Benefitting from a wealth of options, this example sports Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes behind Satin Aurum alloys, paired with a full black leather interior with silver seatbelts to match the silver stitching used throughout. Also fitted are the desirable Clubsport package and the all-important Sports Chrono Pack and instrument dials in black. Harnesses were optioned and are fitted, but the standard belts remain for convenience. Available to view at our showrooms outside London immediately, this example has covered just 6,600 miles from new. Most recently serviced in 2020, the car has covered just 100 miles since.
