Bentley Continental T (2001)

In 1996, the Bentley Continental T came to market and was derived from the Bentley Continental R. It boasted a more athletic outward appearance, owing to its shorter wheelbase and wider wheel arches. This sharpened the performance and improved the all-round driving experience over and above the Continental R. Its 6.75-litre V8 engine sends power to the rear wheels for impressive performance. Encouraged by its 420 bhp and 650 lb/ft 875 nm, the Continental could accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 5.8 seconds, leading to a top speed of 155 mph, effortlessly achieved as you would expect from a Bentley.

The unmistakable driver-focused dashboard features a machine-turned aluminum facia, finished off with chrome instrument surrounds, a respectful hat-tip to Bentleys of the pre-war era, handled with prowess by the renowned "Bentley Boys". The Bentley's characterful cabin is quite the environment to spend time in, be it for a quick jaunt across town, or to cross continents; Continental cruising is what this vehicle is really made for. First registered in April 2002 by Bentley Frankfurt, the Continental T remained in Germany for a number of years during its early life. The supplying dealer-maintained the car regularly, spanning 12 years and 28,000 miles. In 2018, a German specialist sold this Bentley to the U.K. and has ever since been under the care of DK Engineering. Presently U.K. registered, it has been driven a little over 1,250 miles in the past three years combined with two services at a Bentley main dealer.

Additional options included the chromed starter button in the centre of the dashboard and rear parking sensors. The standard speaker system has been further enhanced with a professionally installed system, carefully chosen to blend in with the interior.
