When the 360 Modena was nearly four years old Ferrari wanted to homologate some improvements for their GTC racer and thus the 360 Challenge Stradale was introduced. The Challenge Stradale weighs in at just 20kg more than the Challenge and a staggering 110 Kg less than a standard Modena resulting in a dramatic performance increase. The Stradale features a host of aero and mechanical refinements that combine to make it 3.5 seconds faster around Fiorano than an ordinary Modena.
Upgrades include, Carbon Ceramic brakes as standard, a 50% lighter multi axial carbon floor plan, a 25 BHP increase in power, aerodynamic tweaks allowing for up to 50% more vertical loading (including a different bumper, boot lid and sills as well as venturi ducts at the rear), carbon racing seats with 4 point harnesses, a stripped out interior with Alcantara dash and carbon door cards as standard and an F1 gearbox with shift times of just 150 milliseconds to name but a few. A total of 1288 Challenge Stradales were produced with 119 built to RHD specifications for the U.K. market.
Of the 42 example to leave the factory in Blu Tour de France, fewer than 10 examples would be completed in right hand drive. This UK supplied example is believed to be one of just nine right hand drive examples and was optioned with Tan leather, including a leather headliner. Other options included radio installation, handy fire extinguisher, brake calipers in Giallo and Scuderia wing shields. Furthermore, this example was elegantly optioned without Ferrari's Tricolore racing stripe.

Supplied new in 2004 by Ferrari Wilmslow, this example would see extremely sparing use by its first custodian. The car would be remain in his care until his passing, with ownership transferred to his estate in the years after. Its sparing use has been furthered by its two subsequent custodians and today this Challenge Stradale presents with a mere 826 miles from new.
Complete today, this example is accompanied by its original book pack including original warranty book, Hi-Fi guarantee, Ferrari assistance booklet, torch, toolkit and car cover. Service documentation outlining visits to main retailers and independent specialists, along with its Becker Code card and original purchase invoice can be found in the accompanying history folio.
A tremendous and arguably unrepeatable example of Ferrari’s Challenge Stradale; a bookend to the limited run, naturally-aspirated, mid-engined V8 lineage and one of the finest examples we have seen, this example presents in superb condition and is available for viewing at our showrooms just outside of London immediately.
