Previously restricted to both the highest echelons of Ferrari VIPs and the racetrack, the latest addition to the XX lineage sees a car that might not be quite so exclusive, but one that is fully road legal.
Launched in July 2024, the SF90 XX Stradale saw all new bodywork over that of the standard SF90, a mild power increase of 17 bhp from the 4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 as well as a further 13 bhp from the battery-electric hybrid system amounting to a 1016 bhp total.
With a pared back interior, the XX Stradale is arguably the most aggressively focused road car since the F40 and F50; keenly referenced by Ferrari marketing materials and going some way to explain the prominent fixed wing. This being the first road going Ferrari to receive a fixed rear wing since 1995.
The revised aerodynamics package doubles the downforce of the standard car, rising to 530kg at 155mph. Belying the nominal power increase, the SF90 XX Stradale completes the Fiorano test track 1.7 seconds faster than the standard SF90 or 2.4 seconds faster than the LaFerrari. The first winged supercar, the F40 would complete the lap some 12 seconds slower; as such it would take the XX Stradale less than six laps to lap the F40!
This example was supplied new in April 2025 and optioned in Rosso Magma, a four-layer colour launched on the 488 Pista. The exterior sees the optional upgraded carbon fibre wheels.
With options totalling £112,000, the highlights can be seen below:
