Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS (2022)

Released as a hardcore iteration of the well-regarded Cayman platform, the result, the Cayman GT4 RS, is something truly spectacular. Mid-engined, lightweight, and wonderfully balanced handling are the key characteristics that make this one of the best modern GT cars to have left Stuttgart.

Utilising the same 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-6 engine as the Porsche 992 GT3, only here in a very slightly different state of tune at 500 hp and 450 nm of torque. With this level of power, and tipping the scales at just 1,415 kg, the GT4 RS will reach 62 mph in a matter of just 3.4 seconds, galloping all the way up to 196 mph. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual clutch PDK gearbox operating at lightning speed, as you would expect from a modern Porsche.

GT boss Andreas Preuninger and his team didn’t stop there with the development of the car. Adding a ‘swan neck’ rear wing, the GT4 RS generates an impressive 25% more downforce than the standard GT4, helping the car lap the infamous Nordschleife over 23 seconds faster than the car it’s based on.

This example was supplied new to its first owner on the 17th of June 2022 via Porsche Centre Reading. Having covered just 5,680 miles since then, it presents in superb condition, thanks to its fully PPF’d body and careful ownership.

Specced with the hugely desirable Weissach package and a very comprehensive options list, this example is finished in the stunning paint to sample (PTS) Jet Green Metallic over a black leather interior. The magnesium wheels are finished in factory satin silver and save an impressive 10 kg over the standard wheels. Also optioned are the tasteful and performance enhancing Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), meaning the car earns yellow calipers contrasting beautifully against the car.
