Aiming to fill the void after the 911R and to offer a more hands-on approach to driving as per the original 911 philosophy, the Touring pack was introduced at the 2017 Frankfurt Motorshow.
Offered solely with a manual gearbox, the Touring aims to deliver a more subtle shape overall, whilst maintaining the underpinnings of the GT3. Inside the car could be specified with the majority of options from the regular GT3, except for the Clubsport pack – meaning no rear roll cage. With the removal of the rear wing too, the aerodynamics have changed quite significantly. By removing the rear wing, there is less downforce but consequently less drag than the standard car. These aerodynamic changes have resulted in a shorter front splitter and revised diffuser to complement the small gurney flap along the engine cover that replaces the full size wing of the standard car.
This delivery mileage but UK registered example is an LHD example finished in Agate Grey with subtle black window surrounds. Complementing the 'Touring' nomenclature, this car benefits from 18-way adjustable comfort seats, along with a host of options to make for the ideal usable every day drivers car. The options list includes the advanced Porsche Dynamic Light System(PDLS), the new, innovative LED headlight system, Sport Chrono, Digital Radio, Rear View Camera, Cruise Control and Front-Axle Lift functionality making this a very usable performance car.
Accompanied by full UK registration, spare key and complete and original book pack, this exceptional GT3 Touring is located in our showrooms just outside London and is available to view immediately.
