Salon Prive 2021

DK once more visited the serene gardens of Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, Oxfordshire for the 16th occasion of Salon Prive. Once more in the hospitality of the Duke of Marlborough, it was refreshing to be back out and more so, closer to ‘normal’! The Concours lawn was filled with a fantastic selection of cars and for the first time, the cricket pitch played host to ‘The Red Collection’ - 12 stand out cars over the course of history, all linked by their colour.

DK once more had both a stand and were supporting a number of cars competing on the lawn at the event. On the honours list this year; a 1 of 6 Austin Healey by D’Ieteren Freres took home best in class and a Ferrari 750 Monza separately placed second in class.

DK had handled the preparation of both cars on behalf of their respective owners for the event. We were also supporting a Ferrari 330 GTC in the Concours and two cars within The Red Collection. We were delighted to once more share last year’s runner up, Ferrari 166 #008, a car that won both the 1949 Le Mans & Mille Miglia and has been in our care since 2019. Separately we located a recently-sold 2,700 km non-cat, non-adjust Ferrari F40 to sit next to the 166 as part of the 12. Also within the collection was a McLaren F1 previously supplied by DK.

Grateful to be able to welcome friends and customers to our stand once more, this year we took a fantastic mixture of our latest stock. This included both a Giallo Modena Ferrari F50 & Ferrari Enzo; 1 of 31 and 1 of 37 cars respectively. We also took a Ferrari 250 Berlinetta Lusso, 1 of the 22 UK supplied RHD examples, a RHD Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer and a Ferrari 250 Zagato.

As a world exclusive, we were able to show our recently listed Porsche 911 (993) GT - a true unicorn - the sole Paint to Sample Turquoise Green Metallic ‘GT2’. An incredible example, the ‘GT2’ is also a one-owner, UK supplied example with 19,800 miles from new.
