Jenson Button and DK Engineering at Goodwood Revival 2021

DK Engineering is thrilled to announce that Jenson Button will be driving DK's Shelby Cobra at the 2021 Goodwood Revival. Partnering with Alex Buncombe for the Royal Automobile Club TT Celebration, this will be the former Formula One World Champion's first try at historic racing at what is arguably the most celebrated historic race of the year. They'll be on track at the following times:Practice: Friday, 16:20, Saturday, 14:50. Race: Sunday, 14:30

In advance of the Revival following a day's testing in the Cobra, Jenson commented "I've never been to the Revival and I'm really looking forward to it. I'm really excited about pushing the Cobra to its limits and sharing a car with Alex. I've only shared a racing car with a handful of people and I really enjoy the camaraderie and sharing of the car."

Through the weekend, team DK will be competing in a number of races, all vying for a spot on the top step of the podium. These races include:

  • James Cottingham and Harvey Stanley in the Stirling Moss Memorial Trophy (1962 Jaguar E-Type ex-Huffaker). Practice: Friday, 09:20. Race: Friday, 18:20
  • James Cottingham in the Sussex Trophy (1959 Tojeiro-Jaguar ex-Ecurie Ecosse). Practice: Friday, 13:30. Race: Saturday, 17:50
  • David Cottingham in the Freddie March Memorial Trophy (1956 Ferrari 500 TRC). Practice: Saturday, 09:00. Race: Sunday, 17:20
  • Bertie Cottingham in the Settrington Cup (Austin J40). Part 1: Saturday, 10:40. Part 2: Sunday, 10:25

Additionally, the Porsche 911 (993) GT in stunning Turquoise Green Metallic will be on display at the Earls Court Motor Show at Goodwood and will surely be stunning onlookers with its one-off colour scheme.
