DK Engineering at the 2025 Goodwood Revival

Perhaps the most evocative and awe-inspiring motorsport event anywhere in the world, the 2025 Goodwood Revival proved that the collective passion for historic motorsport (regardless of the weather) is ever-present and will never cease.

As always at the Revival, the DK Engineering team was out in full force, both on and off the track. James Cottingham participated in three races throughout the weekend, behind the wheel of the Ferrari 500 TRC, the Jaguar E-type, and the ex-Jim Clark Tojeiro-Jaguar. Meanwhile, 'YRP 999', the Jaguar E-type Semi-Lightweight, completed the always sensational grid in the Tourist Trophy, driven by Joe Twyman and IndyCar champion Scott Dixon.

The weekend kicked off on Friday evening with the Freddie March Memorial Trophy, where 1950s sports cars swapped positions as the light began to fade. The TRC finished a commendable 9th, within a lineup of cars reminiscent of the Goodwood 9 Hour race of the 1950s.

Saturday featured one of the most exciting races of the weekend, the chaotic Stirling Moss Memorial Trophy, open to closed-cockpit pre-1963 GT cars. James Cottingham lined up in third position on the grid in the SCCA-historied 'Huffaker' Jaguar E-type, set to share driving duties with Oliver Bryant. Unfortunately for the pairing, a blown head gasket forced an early retirement.

Silverware came on Sunday with the Sussex Trophy, open to production-based sports cars from 1955-1960. James Cottingham, starting from P5 on the grid, fought his way up to secure a podium finish in the Tojeiro-Jaguar 'RSF 301', the only Ecurie Ecosse competitor to have ever been driven by Jim Clark.

Additional highlights from the weekend included the invitation to join the parade of ex-Jim Clark cars, celebrating the legendary Scot’s career, and the beloved Settrington Cup, which saw the next generation of historic racers piloting Austin J40 pedal cars.
