James Cottingham To Compete In The #91 Manthey DK Engineering 911 GT3 R For 2026

After two successful years, Manthey will once again field two Porsche 911 GT3 R - this time as the sole Porsche team in the championship. Since the LMGT3 class was introduced in 2024, Manthey has won six out of 16 races, including class wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2024 and 2025. The team is keen to build on its successes in the coming season and take a third consecutive title. Managing director James Cottingham makes the move to the Meuspath-based team after two years racing with United Autosports.

Manthey will field two LMGT3 entries to represent Porsche in this year’s championship, and will be fighting to defend its titles. The #91 ‘Manthey DK Engineering’ car will be piloted by managing director James Cottingham along with Timur Boguslavskiy and Ayhancan Güven providing a blend of experience and new blood. James moves this year to Manthey after two years with United Autosports. Porsche factory driver and Red Bull athlete Güven saw off a high-calibre field to lift the laurels in Germany’s DTM touring car series with Manthey in 2025, and has similarly triumphed in the famous Bathurst 12 Hour race.

With Ayhancan, we undoubtedly want to build upon the successes achieved over the last two years. “After winning not only the championship but also the 24 Hours of Le Mans twice in a row, our goal is clear – to continue this momentum and defend our titles.”
