London Concours

Now in its second year, the start of June once more welcomed a wealth of cars, both old and new, to the hidden gem that is the HAC.

Nestled between Old Street and Moorgate, the tranquil home of the Honourable Artillery Company in the very heart of the city, once more accommodated a selection of the fine cars.

The 2018 event was blessed with great weather, great attendance and beautiful cars. DK Engineering arranged for three cars to be taken to the London Concours

The "Sponsor" F40 GT was displayed with the Global Endurance Legends, a club gaining momentum as a means for owners of 1990s-2000s era race cars to come together, compete or just enjoy ownership with like minded individuals. Also a great opportunity for everyone else to see them running in a class as they so deserve. An Aston Martin DBRS9, Lotus Esprit GT2 and TVR T440R sat alongside our F40 GT.

The concours was separated in to several classes. 'Era-defining', 'Fast', 'Very Fast', 'Super Fast' and 'Hyperfast'.

DK's representation here was between a recently refreshed 512BB and a McLaren F1. Both cars have been sourced by DK Engineering for their owners in recent years and the 512 BB having had a restoration over the winter months.

The event welcomed a selection of other exotica from every era. Best in Show was awarded to the 1911 Fiat S76, affectionately known as the 'Beast of Turin'. Ferrari's were well awarded too, with a 1952 212 Inter Berlinetta and 1961 250SWB Sefac hotrod both winning their respective classes.
