The Ferrari Enzo User's Guide Join DK Engineering's managing director and lead acquisition consultant, James Cottingham, for yet another DK User's Guide. This time, it's the noughties' beloved F-car. Welcome to the definitive Ferrari Enzo user's guide. Ferrari 500 TR 0614 MDTR - The Lost Testa Rossa From its debut at the 1956 New York Motor Show to victories with legends like Carroll Shelby, this Ferrari has lived an extraordinary life. Raced at the 1957 Cuban Grand Prix, scored multiple class wins at Bahamas Speed Week, vanished for decades, and was rediscovered in 1988. Fully restored by DK Engineering between 2012–2015, it went on to shine at Goodwood Revival, Salon Privé, Cavallino Classic, and Pebble Beach, even earning Ferrari Classiche Certification in 2022. A remarkable journey for a truly remarkable Testa Rossa. #dkengineering #500TR #Ferrari500TR #testarossa The McLaren F1 Often spoken of in the same breath as the 250 GTO, the McLaren F1 is widely regarded as the definitive addition to any serious collection. Gordon Murray's creation remains the uncompromising apex of automotive design: a Formula 1 inspired road car, a pioneering GT machine, a record-breaker, a rule-breaker, a three seater and of course, a Le Mans 24h winner. In this video, James explores why the McLaren F1 truly earns its place as the ultimate driver’s car. #McLarenF1 #TheCompleteService #McLaren #F1 #DKEngineering #GordonMurray #LeMansWinner DK Engineering's Analogue Heroes Driving Tour in Portugal 2025 After the huge success of our 2023 F40 anniversary tour, we returned to the concept once again - this time across the sun-soaked landscape of southern Portugal, with the support of White Label Events. Across three unforgettable days, our clients and the DK team explored the breathtaking roads of the Vincentine Coast National Park, the historic towns of Évora and Monsaraz, and the sweeping curves of the São Mamede Mountain Range Natural Park. The tour brought together an extraordinary lineup of analogue icons, including: Ferrari 288 GTO, Ferrari F40 GT, Manual 599 GTB, Manually-converted 360 Challenge Stradale, Two Singer DLS, Porsche Carrera GTs, Gordon Murray T.50s (including DK’s own example), Koenigsegg CCX and a yellow Pagani Zonda. Where Love Lives For the F-Car & F40 | The Complete Service | DK Christmas Ad 2025 If you can't find the complete service, find DK. We don’t always know how to say that we want one team to look after us. Not out loud. Not properly. But then comes the Holiday Season and something in us wants to try. This is the story of Paul and his 30 year love affair with the F40, and how they (and their F-Car brothers) always seem to find their way back to us. Furthermore, we are delighted to announce the sale of #1995GT. "A Passion for Ferrari" - DK Engineering Storage's Jeremy Kalp The passion for Ferrari runs deep within our blood at DK Engineering. This passion, love and understanding of the brand is perhaps best realised in the case of Jeremy, who after being gifted a model Testarossa on his birthday in 1986, has amassed a remarkable collection of Ferrari memorabilia. Jeremy has paid visit to Maranello on over 50 occasions and as such, we thought to champion his passion for the brand, by hearing it from the (prancing) horse's mouth. Jeremy continues to provide his part of "The Complete Service" as DK Engineering's Storage Operations and Procedural Controller. Our Favourite Ferrari 250 SWB - 1995GT SOLD! 1995GT. The purest and best specification RHD Steel SWB of the 11 built (in our opinion). Owned for decades by our friend Richard Colton. Left by his estate to the @rnli and sold by H&H at auction at which time we were the successful bidder and subsequently sold to another very close friend of DK. Since then we have totally restored the car in 2020-22 (great series on our YouTube) preserving this car, returning it to its true factory specification, and highlighting its extraordinary competition specification from new; ultimately obtaining Classiche certification rubber stamping it as a truly matching numbers throughout car. We were even fortunate enough to obtain the original book pack and registration from the first owner in return for a donation. We’ve had some adventures with the car having it pass through our hands since 2021 a couple more times with it always being close by and in the DK collection for a while; but something tells us this car is going into a fabulous collection that will retain the car for decades and we are pretty sure you’ll see it “out there”. It’s Ciao, for now. "One Name. Seven Decades." - Ferrari's 750 Monza & SP1 Monza The Monza name has been associated with Scuderia Ferrari since the pre-war era, when the team ran works Alfa Romeo Grand Prix cars. In the 1950s, the moniker was revived with the 750 Monza, following further success at the historic Italian circuit. In 2018, Ferrari introduced their Icona series with the SP1 and SP2 "Monza", limited-production models based on the 812 Superfast, offered in either single- or two-seat configurations, hence the SP1 and SP2 designations. Accounting for just 30% of total Monza production, the SP1 is the rarer variant and pays direct homage to the original 750 Monza, which was itself conceived as a single-seat competition car. This example of the SP1, has been specified with a great many extra-campionario options, to complete a specification that directly pays homage to 750 Monza 0568M. Your Chance to Compete at Le Mans - 'Legends of Le Mans' 2026 - Epsilon Euskadi 001 Your chance to compete worldwide, in a closed cockpit, Judd-powered, V10 LMP car! This year (2026), the World Endurance Championship has announced a support series, open to LMP and GT cars that were eligible for the 24 Hours of Le Mans between 2006-2016. The series, simply titled 'Legends of Le Mans', will consist of three races during WEC weekends at Bahrain, Imola and Spa, as well as an additional fourth event at the now annual and beloved Le Mans Classic. Entrants can expect a great many accompanying benefits including paddock access at WEC rounds, VIP hospitality and more. Having been approved for Legends of Le Mans, this Epsilon Euskadi represents the ideal candidate for a front running, Le Mans historied LMP1 machine. Having been fully restored by prototype specialists Pursuit Racing, it now awaits a new custodian, looking to fulfil the dream of competing at some of the world's most notable circuits, against a host of evocative GT and LMP cars. As demand grew, David and Kate knew they needed to expand the business. Reluctantly, but with an eye on the future, David sold the 340 MM to fund the purchase of new premises in Watford. There, DK Engineering remained for the next 20 years, before moving once more to Little Green Street Farm, where the business operates today. It's likely that without the 0350 AM, DK Engineering wouldn't be where it is now. The car therefore represents a pivotal part of the company's nearly 50-year history. Recently, the car returned to DK Engineering for sympathetic restorative works. While it was with us, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to share its story. #ferrari #340 #340mm #dkengineering Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale - Unleashed on Track "All of the thrill, digestible bill." The first road-legal Ferrari to bear the XX moniker: the SF90 XX Stradale. Ferrari’s 1,016 hp hybrid hypercar earned its rite of passage when it gained the ‘XX’ suffix. Rumoured to have been called the ‘LM’ in celebration of Ferrari’s three consecutive Le Mans victories since 2023, this track-focused, limited-production model was ultimately given a title reserved for Ferrari’s most exclusive creations, the XX Programme machines, available only to clients at the very top of the roster. The Ultimate F40 - Enhanced by DK Engineering - Driven at Dunsfold Arriving with us in December 2022, this F40 is the last car to be built by the factory in 1989. A European supplied car; this non-cat, non-adjust F40 has been used enthusiastically by its owner in the USA in recent years. This F40 was extensively documented upon arrival, with the owner tasking DK to help to restore the car, fit some upgrades to further enhance usability and a colour change to ensure the F40 blends into the owners collection more suitably. Following a full strip down, the car has been refinished in Blu MD and as part of the refitment of parts, has been fitted with DK’s covert four-wheel vehicle lifting system and ceramic brakes to sit behind standard wheels. In this film, James gets the opportunity to stretch the F40's legs at Dunsfold Aerodrome, home of BBC's Top Gear. #ferrari #f40 #restoration #dkengineering How Many Hypercars? Notoriously low grip, high degradation and tough on the brakes, the 8 Hours of Bahrain is a true endurance challenge – and yesterday, the WEC curtain-closer lived up to its reputation. The McLaren LMGT3 duo battled through the baking heat and into the night with the #95 taking P9 after eight hours, 216 laps and nine pit stops, followed by the sister #59 in P16. DK x WEC 2025 - Round 7 - Fuji, Japan Consistently among the top performers in free practice, the team delivered one of its finest performances of the season in Saturday’s qualifying. In LMGT3, an initial 12-minute session determines the 10 fastest cars, which then advance to the ‘Hyperpole’ shootout, where final grid positions are determined. In the initial qualifying session, only Bronze-rated drivers are allowed to compete. For the #59, this meant driving duties fell upon James Cottingham. James proceeded to set a phenomenal 1:40.469, the fastest time in LMGT3 by half a second. Sebastien Baud then converted that pace into P3 during the Hyperpole session. A dramatic 41-metre climb into turn one is followed by a rapid descent into the esses, one of the few sections of track in the world where you can visibly see the aerodynamic stress placed on a Formula One car. This past weekend, the World Endurance Championship staged its sixth round of the season, the aptly nicknamed 'Lone Star Le Mans', a 6-hour race featuring Hypercars and LMGT3 machinery. DK x WEC 2025 - Round 5 - São Paulo, Interlagos An action-packed weekend in Brazil saw the McLaren #59 and #95 entries fight through a dramatic 6 Hours of São Paulo, with both crews bringing home Top 10 finishes in front of an electric 85,000-strong crowd at Interlagos. DK x WEC 2025 - Round 4 - Le Mans 24H The 24 Hour of Le Mans lived up to its reputation for James and his teammates in 2025. A true feat of endurance, dedication and teamwork. Devastatingly for the LMGT3 crew, it was double heartbreak with the #95 retiring in the sixth hour and, perhaps even more cruelly, the #59 suffering an electrical fault at the 23-hour mark... Starting from P16 (#59) on the grid after a challenging Qualifying session, James Cottingham surged through the field with thrilling battles on track, clean delivery and slick execution by the team in the pits. At the two-hour mark, Cottingham (#59) claimed his place in the top three after a phenomenal climb. Wrapping up a sensational charge to the front, James handed to Silver-graded Sebastien Baud. The Ferrari 288 GTO User's Guide Join James Cottingham for our Ferrari 288 GTO user's guide DK x WEC 2025 - Round 2 - Imola This weekend the McLaren LMGT3 duo took on the 6 Hours of Imola - the second round of the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship - at Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in front of 65,000-strong, roaring crowds. After a stellar start to the season in Qatar, the podium-placing team battled the intrinsic challenges of the kerb-lined Imola circuit, ultimately crossing in 14th place. James Cottingham: “A disappointing day of course. We were looking to bag some safe points, but we didn’t manage to bag any at all. But on reflection, this was our weakest race last year and it was always going to be our weakest race this year. So having the success ballast from the last race at our weakest track was probably the best thing. And we will look forward to Spa where we had front row performance for qualifying and podium potential pace during the race last year, and I don’t see any reason why we can’t deliver that in a few weeks’ time.” DK x WEC 2025 - Round 1 - Qatar Podium for the #59 Crew at the WEC Season Opener in Qatar - James Cottingham: “I’ve said a number of times since we got to Qatar that I feel like we could hit the ground running. The efforts that have been put in by the United Autosports team over the winter have been translated into a podium that is well-deserved at long last for the #59 car! I couldn’t be happier. Super close to the race win, and we had a teeny bit of bad luck with a gear box malfunction in the race which lost us 40 seconds. Without that, undoubtedly we could have been on the top step of the podium. But we have seven more rounds and I am confident that you will see McLaren on the podium at multiple points during the season going forward … which is where the team should be! Very pleased.” DK x WEC 2024 - Round 4 - Le Mans 24H The 24 Hours of Le Mans is the most prestigious race in automotive history and presents one of the hardest challenges a driver may have the privilege to face in their racing career. Over the past week, DK's Managing Director and Lead Acquisition Consultant, James Cottingham, has been at La Sarthe, fulfilling a lifelong dream of competing at the infamous French endurance race. Jaguar XKSS - The Original Road Racer After withdrawing from factory-backed international motorsport in 1956, Jaguar vowed to make the remaining 25 D-types into road cars. I consider myself most privileged and honoured to have been in the company of James, my family, his fellow drivers and the United Autosport team for practice qualifying and races of all eight World Endurance Championship events. Together, we shared highs and lows.
